Redmi K70 Ultra spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC

The Redmi K70 Ultra launch has been rumoured since December last year. It’s expected to finally launch next month in China. The Ultra model will join the Redmi K70 lineup that debuted last November. An alleged Redmi K70 Ultra has now been spotted on Geekbench with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Here are all the details.

Redmi K70 Ultra spotted on Geekbench

  • A new Xiaomi phone has appeared on Geekbench with the model number K702407FRK8EC. This model number is associated with the Redmi K70 Ultra based on the IMEI database.
  • On Geekbench, the Redmi K70 Ultra is running an octa-core processor with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz. This chipset is believed to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+.
  • The Dimensity 9300+ is MediaTek’s fastest chipset yet and an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9300. It powers the iQOO Neo 9s Pro in China.
  • The Geekbench listing also reveals 16GB RAM and Android 14 for the Redmi K70 Ultra.
  • Redmi K70 Ultra has scored 2218 points in the single-core test and 7457 points in the multi-core test.

Xiaomi has teased the Redmi K70 Ultra and confirmed that it will feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Other details are yet to be revealed but the Redmi K70 Ultra is expected to debut in China next month. It’s also speculated that the Redmi K70 Ultra will launch as the Xiaomi 14T Pro globally.

There have been leaks about the Redmi K70 Ultra’s specifications. It’s tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone could feature a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, and 8MP and 2MP auxiliary cameras paired with Xiaomi’s AI imaging technology. It’s also expected to feature a metal middle frame and a glass back.

In China, the Redmi K70 Ultra could cost 2,500 Yuan which translates to approximately Rs 28,797.
