Redmi K70 Ultra is confirmed to launch in China this month. The confirmation comes after months of rumours and leaks around the Redmi K70 Ultra. It’s the most powerful model to join the Redmi K70 series that launched in November last year. The Redmi K70 Ultra or ‘Extreme Edition’ has been teased by the brand with its design and colour officially revealed.
Redmi K70 Ultra design teased
Redmi K70 Ultra will come in an ‘Ice Glass’ colour, which fills up the phone in this light bluish-white shade. The phone also has a metal middle frame and a glass back. Just like the Redmi K70 series, the Ultra model also has a very prominent camera module at the back housing three sensors and an LED flash. This teaser image confirms the Redmi K70 Ultra will feature a 50MP AI camera with OIS.
Redmi has also revealed other details about the K70 Ultra through more images on Weibo. The Redmi K70 Ultra is confirmed to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming technology. It will feature 3D Ice Cooling and ‘Ice Circulation Cold Pump’, which is said to be Xiaomi’s most powerful heat dissipation design. Redmi K70 Ultra has also scored 2.38 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, according to Xiaomi.
Redmi K70 Ultra is also confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. It’s MediaTek’s most powerful chipset yet. The smartphone will also feature an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Redmi K70 Ultra is launching in China this month although the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s speculated that the Redmi K70 Ultra will launch as the Xiaomi 14T Pro globally. This is based on last year’s Redmi K60 Ultra launching as the Xiaomi 13T Pro in markets outside China.
