Now, ahead of the announcement, a few more Redmi K40 specifications have been teased. Though the company hasn’t explicitly mentioned it, the Redmi K40 Pro will come with an E4 OLED display and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Redmi K40 specifications (rumoured)

As for the Redmi K40 specifications, it is said to come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a tiny centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The Geekbench listing suggested it’ll be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with 8GB and 128GB internal storage but could have other options at launch. The phone is likely to boot Android 11 based MIUI 12 custom skin on top. Connectivity features could include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. While complete details about the optics are a mystery at the moment, it could house a 64MP primary sensor. The Redmi K40 may house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and the tiny punch-hole cutout may house a 32MP snapper for selfies but can’t be said for certain at the moment.

The Redmi K40 Pro, on the other hand, could ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile platform, have Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and probably an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Not much else is known about the phones at the moment but we should know more details tomorrow. Stick around.
