Redmi 13 5G specifications (expected)

Redmi 13 5G is confirmed to feature a 108MP primary camera on a dual-camera setup at the rear. It’s tipped to feature a 2MP macro camera and an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, it will run the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The smartphone is also confirmed to pack a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

On the software front, the Redmi 13 5G will run Xiaomi HyperOS. It will be the first Redmi phone to run HyperOS out of the box. Without revealing the dimensions, the brand has claimed the Redmi 13 5G will feature the segment’s biggest display on a 5G smartphone. It will also come with Gorilla Glass 3 protection layered on top.

Redmi 13 5G will feature a crystal glass design but it isn’t confirmed if the back panel is indeed glass or a different material. The smartphone will come in two colour options: Pink and Green. It has a trendy design with flat edges similar to the latest iPhones and Galaxy flagships.

Redmi 13 5G would succeed the Redmi 12 5G that launched in India last year in August. It’s one of the most affordable 5G phones in India starting at Rs 10,999. Based on the specifications revealed, the Redmi 13 5G will offer no chipset upgrade but it has a better primary camera, a slightly bigger battery, and faster charging than the Redmi 12 5G. We should get a better idea once the phone debuts in India.
