Red Magic 9S Pro+ becomes highest-scoring phone on AnTuTu

The AnTuTu platform is a benchmark to determine the performance of a phone/tablet. While these scores might not mean anything to an end user, they definitely paint a picture of how good the performance is going to be. Now, the folks at AnTuTu have spotted a new highest-scoring Android phone on the platform and this has the model number NX769S_V2A model number. There are chances it could be the upcoming Red Magic 9S Pro+.

Red Magic 9S Pro+ will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Advanced Edition

  • The Red Magic 9S Pro+ has scored a whopping 2,369,542 points on the AnTuTu benchmark platform. 
  • The recently launched OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has claimed to have scored 2,326,659 on the same platform.

  • Of the 2,369,542 points on the AnTuTu benchmark platform, the CPU part is 485,363 points, the GPU score is 979,908 points, the MEM part is 507,149 points, and the UX score is 397,122 points.
  • The Red Magic 9S Pro+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Advanced Edition.
  • The chipset is expected to debut in China first and its CPU large core frequency will be increased from 3.3GHz to 3.4GHz, which will make it the most powerful SoC from the San Diego chipmaker.
  • The chipset will be paired with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage (this is likely to be LPDDR5x + UFS 4.0 combination). The phone will boot Android 14 OS out of the box.
  • AnTuTu credits the higher frequency and storage combination for the high score currently on any Android phone.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Advanced Edition will also bring a more advanced generative AI experience, which is capable of running models with 10 billion parameters on the device and can generate images on the device in less than a second with Stable Diffusion technology. The phone is expected to come with an under-screen camera technology, utilising the true full-screen design without any cutouts. The screen supplier will be BOE.
