Realme GT 7 Pro tipped to launch as brand’s first IP69-rated phone

Realme GT 7 Pro India launch has been officially confirmed for the end of 2024. The smartphone will also debut in global markets at the same time. Even with months to go for the Realme GT 7 Pro launch, there are leaks already on the device’s specifications and features. Another leak has surfaced online revealing key details about the Realme GT 7 Pro. 

Realme GT 7 Pro key specs leaked

  • This leak comes yet again from tipster Digital Chat Station who has been consistent with sharing new information about the Realme GT 7 Pro. Although the name of the phone hasn’t been mentioned, the comments confirm it’s the Realme GT 7 Pro.
  • According to this leak, the new Realme smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and feature a 1.5K micro-curved display.
  • The Realme GT 7 Pro is also tipped to come with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This would make the GT 7 Pro the first Realme IP69 phone.
  • The smartphone will feature a triple camera setup at the back with a simple design. The setup will include a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
  • Without revealing the capacity, the tipster said the Realme GT 7 Pro will house an extra large silicon negative electrode battery. The smartphone will also feature a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which would be more accurate and safer than capacitive fingerprint sensors. 

The Realme GT 7 Pro is also tipped to come with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. It will most likely launch in more RAM and storage variants. The GT 7 Pro will be Realme’s flagship offering as the brand focuses on the premium segment and nits GT series.

With Realme jumping to the GT 7 Pro from the GT 5 Pro, it will succeed the latter. Realme has already confirmed the GT 7 Pro launch will take place by the end of this year and it’s coming to India.
