Highlights
  • Realme GT 7 Pro will be the brand’s flagship offering with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
  • The smartphone is confirmed to launch globally and in India by the end of 2024.
  • A new leak reveals key specifications of the Realme GT 7 Pro.

The Realme GT 7 Pro India launch was confirmed recently. It will launch in India and globally towards the end of the year. This would mark the Realme GT series comeback in India after the GT Neo 3T launched in 2022. Realme GT 7 Pro will be a flagship offering from the brand, and a new leak reveals the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This is Qualcomm’s flagship chipset slated to launch in October.

Realme GT 7 Pro specifications leaked

  • A new leak by Digital Chat Station reveals the specifications of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered phone, possibly the Realme GT 7 Pro.
  • According to DCS, this smartphone will feature a 1.5K 8T LTPO panel with a customised display sourced from a local manufacturer.
  • The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset could be paired with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. The Realme GT 7 Pro could sport a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom support.
  • DCS also says the smartphone will pack an “ultra-large” battery without revealing its capacity. It’s a silicon-anode battery that offers more energy density and faster charging speeds than lithium-ion batteries.

Realme GT 7 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera was leaked recently suggesting that it will indeed come with this sensor. The smartphone is also tipped to feature an ultrasonic in-display sensor, which is more accurate and safer than capacitive fingerprint sensors. That’s about it on the specifications front of the Realme GT 7 Pro.

The Realme GT 7 Pro would ideally succeed the GT 6 Pro but the phone is yet to launch. It’s unclear if there will be a Pro variant but the Realme GT 6 is launching globally and in India on June 20th. There’s another rumour of a China-exclusive Realme GT 6 which will be more powerful with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This might even launch as the Realme GT 7 so there’s quite a bit of confusion on the naming scheme. We should get more clarity once the said devices launch.
