Realme GT 6T India launch is set for May 22nd as the ‘GT’ series makes a comeback in the country. Ahead of the launch, Realme has been teasing the upcoming phone revealing key details on its Amazon teaser page. It has now been revealed the Realme GT 6T will offer the brightest display with 6000 nits peak brightness. More display details of the smartphone have been shared as well.
Realme GT 6T brightest display teased
Realme GT 6T is confirmed to offer 6000 nits of brightness, the highest ever on a smartphone. This will most likely be the same as the Realme GT Neo 6 in China which also offers up to 6,000 nits peak brightness for HDR content. This would mean excellent viewing when the phone is exposed to heavy sunlight. We’ll know about its real-life use case in our detailed review soon.
In addition to a super-bright display, the Realme GT 6T will also feature an 8T LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection layered on top.
Realme GT 6T is also confirmed to launch as the first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC smartphone in India. The smartphone will pack a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The company claims it can charge up to 50 percent in just 10 minutes, and this should be enough to last you a day. Realme GT 6T will be equipped with a dual VC 9-layer cooling system for heat dissipation.
As for the rest of the Realme GT 6T specifications, here’s what to expect:
- Display: The Realme GT 6T is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display.
- Software: It will most likely run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 custom skin out of the box.
- Cameras: The smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera at the back. The primary camera is the same as that on the Realme 12 Pro+ and Vivo T3. It might feature a 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera, which was also seen on the Nothing Phone (2a).
