The Realme 13 Pro series is set to go official in India very soon and is expected to include two models: the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+. Like before, the company looks to be focusing and putting its best resources into bringing top-end cameras. Today, the company has unveiled its highly anticipated first professional ultra-clear camera and this will have AI prowess.
Realme 13 Pro series camera details
- Realme and Sony have collaborated and introduced the Sony LYT-701 camera and this will debut on the Realme 13 Pro series 5G.
- The Realme 13 Pro series will feature a 50MP main Sony LYT-701 camera with OIS and a 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
- The Sony sensor will be powered by Realme’s AI Photography Architecture, HyperImage+.
- HyperImage+ features a three-layer architecture comprising flagship optics, on-device AI imaging algorithms, and cloud-based AI image editing.
The dual 50MP camera setup is claimed to offer exceptional image quality even in low-light conditions. Realme also announced the upcoming Realme 13 Pro+ has received the high-resolution camera certification by TUV Rheinland certification.
There’s also the Realme AI HyperRAW algorithm, which significantly boosts image clarity and dynamic range and offers true-to-life results. There is also a wide range of camera features like AI Pure Bokeh-which can accurately identify foreground, mid-ground, and background elements, AI Natural Skin Tone-this can enhance the natural appearance of various skin tones using on-device AI processing, and AI Ultra Clarity-this can enhance low-resolution photos.
Unfortunately, the Realme 13 Pro series’ launch date is yet to be announced but we expect it might happen at some point later this month.
Realme 13 Pro+: what we know so far
Realme 13 Pro+ has appeared on the TENAA certification and this revealed the model number RMX3920. This included images of the phone, which showed a circular camera module on the back and what looked like a leather back panel. As per the listing, the phone would be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.
The Realme 13 Pro+ will have a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP secondary sensor and an 8MP shooter. For context, the Realme 12 Pro+ featured a 50MP + 8MP + 64MP triple camera setup. The phone might house a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies similar to the Realme 12 Pro+. The Realme 13 Pro+ might house a 5,050mAh battery, which is a minor improvement over 5,000mAh capacity on the Realme 12 Pro+.
The Realme 13 Pro+ is expected to be available in multiple RAM/storage options: 6GB, 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of internal storage.
