Smartphone brand Realme is all set to announce the Realme 13 Pro series soon in India. The series will likely include the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+, like the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, which were unveiled at the beginning of 2024. The brand has now confirmed that it will hold the Realme AI imaging event this month, where it will reveal more about the AI capabilities of the Realme 13 Pro series.

Realme AI imaging event date for Realme 13 Pro series

Via a post on the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, it has been revealed that Realme will host an AI Imaging Media Preview Event on July 4th in Bangkok, Thailand. During the event, the smartphone brand is expected to address details regarding the Realme 13 Pro series’ AI features for the camera setup.

What to expect?

  • According to the company, Realme executives will join TUV Rheinland representatives to explore AI’s future implications on smartphone cameras.
  • Both parties will discuss their collaboration and efforts to advance this technology in the smartphone industry at the event.

Realme 13 Pro series specifications (expected)

  • In India, the series will be available for purchase via Flipkart. As per the brand, the yet-to-be-launched Realme 13 Pro series will be the first professional AI camera phone introduced by Realme, which aligns with our recent report.
  • The Realme 13 Pro is anticipated to pack an OIS and EIS-enabled 12MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, which will likely be marketed as a 50MP sensor. The upcoming Realme phone may also feature a new 50MP 3X periscope camera.
  • For selfies, it could have an 8.1MP front camera with EIS, which is expected to be a higher resolution compared to the 16MP front camera of the Realme 12 Pro.
  • The Realme 13 Pro might launch with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is also expected to be available in 12GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB of internal storage options.
  • Meanwhile, the upcoming Realme 13 Pro+ is said to house a 5,050mAh battery compared to the 5,000mAh battery on the Realme 12 Pro+.
  • The ‘Plus’ variant will likely feature a 50MP sensor alongside other cameras and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, in contrast to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset seen on the Realme 13 Pro+.
