Realme 13 Pro+ tipped to feature Sony IMX882 3x periscope lens, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC

Realme seems to be prepping to unveil the Realme 13 Pro+ phone in China. To that extent, there have been some notable rumours in the recent few weeks. Now, the tipster DigitalChatStation has shared some key specifications of an upcoming phone. While the post on Weibo doesn’t mention the name of the model explicitly, there are reports it is indeed the Realme 13 Pro+.

  • According to DCS, the Realme 13 Pro+ will be the first phone to feature a Sony IMX882 3x periscope lens. This is a 1/1.953-inch sensor.
  • The same Sony sensor will reportedly be used by other manufacturers like OPPO and OnePlus for their upcoming flagships.

  • Furthermore, the phone might use a 50MP main sensor and other cameras similar to Realme 12 Pro+.
  • The handset would come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and a familiar circular camera module on the back.
  • The Realme 13 Pro+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which is a generational upgrade over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset on the predecessor. 

Previous reports suggested the Realme 13 Pro+ Indian variant will be available in two colours: Monet Gold and Emerald Green colours. The handset will be sold in four options: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. On the other, the Realme 13 Pro would be sold with the same RAM and storage options.

It would be sold in Monet Gold, Monet Purple, and Sky Green colours. Not much else is known about the phone at the moment. There are chances the new Realme 13 Pro+ could debut in the coming days if not a few weeks.
