OnePlus Ace 3 Pro specifications have been leaking since the start of this year. We’re yet to see any official information from the brand but it’s rumoured that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launch will take place in July in China. Now ahead of the launch, a new smartphone has been spotted on China’s 3C certification site, and it’s believed to be the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro gets 3C certification
- OnePlus Ace 3 Pro with the model number PJX110 has been spotted on China’s 3C certification site. Like the US FCC and India’s BIS, getting certified on 3C confirms the phone’s launch in the country and also suggests an imminent launch.
- While the phone’s name hasn’t been specified, this model number is believed to be the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro.
- The 3C certification confirms the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will come with 5G and it also hints at an 100W charger. It has been rumoured previously that the Ace 3 Pro will come with 100W fast charging support.
- With the 3C certification, we should be seeing the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro debut soon.
Since the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has already leaked several times, we have a rough idea of what to expect from the upcoming phone. Here’s a look at what has been revealed so far:
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro specifications (expected)
- Display: OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to feature a 1.5K OLED display with an 8T LTPO panel and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: The smartphone will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB storage. The OnePlus Ace 2 came with the preceding chipset as will, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with similar RAM.
- Cameras: The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is tipped to house a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera. It will be a triple-camera setup at the back, same as the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
- Battery, charging: The Ace 3 Pro might offer the biggest battery on a OnePlus phone yet. It’s tipped to feature a 5,940mAh battery with a typical capacity of 6,100mAh. This is bigger than the 5,500mAh battery on the OnePlus Ace 3, which currently holds the top spot.
- Design: The new OnePlus phone is also tipped to feature a different design than the current flagships. It’s said to feature a premium design with metal frames and a glass back.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to remain exclusive to China. While it does launch Ace phones under a different moniker in India like the OnePlus 12R being a rebrand of the Ace 3, it isn’t clear how the Ace 3 Pro would be marketed here. Since the phone is rumoured to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it would compete with the OnePlus 12 which has the same chipset.
