POCO M6 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on August 5th, the company revealed on Wednesday. POCO India country head Himanshu Tandon recently tweeted the first official teaser image showing a glimpse of the phone’s design. Details about the POCO M6 Pro 5G’s specifications are still scarce but 91mobiles managed to spot the phone on Geekbench confirming its chipset, RAM, and more.
POCO M6 Pro 5G spotted on Geekbench
- 91mobiles spotted the POCO M6 Pro 5G smartphone with the model number 23076PC4BI on Geekbench.
- The smartphone is powered by a 2.2GHz processor paired with Adreno 613 GPU. This chipset is most likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset.
- The Geekbench listing also shows that the POCO M6 Pro 5G packs 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 13 OS.
- The phone recorded a single-core score of 922 and a multi-core score of 2,110 on Geekbench.
The Geekbench listing seems to back the speculation that the POCO M6 Pro 5G is a rebranded Redmi Note 12R that’s available in China. The Redmi Note 12R is also powered by the same chipset.
As for the rest of its specifications, here’s what we can expect from the POCO M6 Pro.

- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.
- RAM and storage: Up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
- Cameras: 50MP primary sensor + 2MP secondary sensor. 5MP front camera.
- Battery and charging: 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
- Software: MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
What’s confirmed though is that the POCO M6 Pro 5G will feature dual rear cameras. The sensors are aligned vertically with an LED flash on the side. The SIM tray sits on the left side of the phone. The teaser image also confirms a turquoise colour option for the phone with what looks like a steel frame. The smartphone is also confirmed to come with support for 5G.
