OPPO Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro launching in India on July 12th: what to expect

The OPPO Reno 12 and OPPO Reno 12 Pro are set to launch in India next week. While the phones are already official in the Chinese and global markets, the smartphone brand has now revealed the India launch date of the upcoming smartphones. Notably, a recent report mentioned the launch date of these phones, which corroborates the official date. Take a look at the details of the OPPO Reno 12 series.

OPPO Reno 12 series India launch date

The company has officially confirmed that the OPPO Reno 12 and OPPO Reno 12 Pro are all set to launch for India consumers on July 12th.
The Reno 12 will come in Matte Brown, Astro Silver and Sunset Peach colours. Meanwhile, the Pro variant will flaunt Sunset Gold and Space Brown colour options.

OPPO Reno 12 series: what to expect

OPPO has confirmed that the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro will boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz Flexible AMOLED display with peak HDR brightness up to 1200 nits.
Like the global variant, the Indian variant of these upcoming OPPO phones will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset.
The Reno 12 will feature an OIS-enabled 50MP main camera with Sony’s LYT-600 sensor, a 2MP OV02B10 macro camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
The Reno 12 Pro will pack a similar setup to the vanilla variant, but instead of the 2MP OV02B10 macro camera, it will come with a 50MP telephoto camera with the Samsung JN5 sensor.
While the vanilla variant will offer a 32MP selfie camera, the Reno 12 Pro will come with a 50MP sensor, as per the company.
OPPO also mentioned that the Reno 12 series phones will house a 5,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC wired fast charging support.
Both phones feature an IP65 rating and will have several AI-based features to enhance user experience, like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Writer, AI Recording Summary and more.
