OPPO Reno 12 Pro global variant spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC

OPPO Reno 12 Pro global launch has been officially confirmed by the brand. The confirmation comes amid the Reno 12 Pro making appearances lately. It was recently leaked via a European retailer website, and now the OPPO Reno 12 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench. It’s worth mentioning that the OPPO Reno 12 Pro and Reno 12 smartphones were launched in China last month.

OPPO Reno 12 Pro has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number CPH2629. This model number is associated with the global variant of the Reno 12 Pro.
The smartphone is listed with an octa-core chipset codenamed k6878v1_64. It has four performance cores clocked at 2.50GHz) and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz).
It’s speculated that the chipset in question is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. This is different from the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition that powers the Reno 12 Pro in China. So it looks like the global variant might come with some changes.
On Geekbench, the Reno 12 Pro has scored 1,043 and 2,944 points in the single-core and multi-core tests. It also has 12GB of RAM and runs Android 14 according to the listing.

Not just the chipset, but other features might be different between the global and Chinese variants of the Reno 12 Pro. The 50MP primary camera on the Reno 12 Pro has the Sony IMX882 sensor and not the IMX890. This is according to a leak on a European retailer website that revealed its alleged pricing and other details. The Reno 12 Pro might launch at €580 (Rs 52,700 approx) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. It has also been listed in Black colour but OPPO might launch the other two colour variants as well.
