OPPO Find X series tipped to make comeback in India with Find X8 series

Smartphone brand OPPO might be planning to bring back the Find X series once again for Indian consumers. While the company hasn’t officially revealed the plan, a tipster hints that the OPPO Find X series might be coming back to India with the launch of new generation Find X8 series phones. It is worth noting that only the Find X and Find X2 are available in India. Here are the expected launch details of the OPPO Find X8 series.

OPPO Find X8 series launch in India tipped

Without revealing much details, tipster Mukul Sharma revealed (via X) that there is a chance that OPPO might launch the Find X8 series in India alongside China and other countries.

The tipster did not disclose any other details about the series, but recent reports say the OPPO Find X8 series will consist of the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8, which are yet to be revealed in China.

They will be launched as the successor of the Find X7 Ultra (review) and Find X7, which were unveiled in China in January this year at a starting price of CNY 4,999 (around Rs 59,000) for the Find X7 model.

While the Find X8 Ultra might be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, the regular Find X8 is anticipated to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The Ultra variant is also tipped to come with an under-display ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the Find X8 might flaunt an optical fingerprint sensor.

OPPO Reno series, A3 Pro details

The same tipster also mentioned that the upcoming OPPO Reno series, likely the Reno 12 series, will focus more on artificial intelligence (AI) and might be integrated with the OPPO AI and Google’s Gemini.
Additionally, he stated that the upcoming OPPO A3 Pro might launch with the IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings but under a different name.

It is worth mentioning that an IP66 offers protection from dust and strong water jets, while an IP68 provides defence against dust and water immersion for longer than 1 meter. Conversely, the IP69 rating offers protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, allowing devices to operate even in harsh environments.
