Smartphone brand OPPO launched the OPPO Enco Air 4 Pro in China last month, and now the company has announced a new colour variant of the OPPO Enco Buds 2, which was announced in India in 2022. The earbuds come with 10mm drivers, up to 28 hours of playtime, AI Deep Noise Cancellation for calls, and much more. Here are the details about the new colour and its price.

OPPO Enco Buds 2 new colour variant details

Initially, the OPPO Enco Buds 2 earbuds were launched in India in Black colour. But now, the company has announced that the earbuds will also be available in the Lilac Blue colour option. The OPPO Enco Buds 2 is priced at Rs 1,599 compared to the original launch price of Rs 1,799 and can be availed via Flipkart and the company’s official website.

OPPO Enco Buds 2 features, should you buy?

The OPPO Enco Buds 2 earbuds are equipped with a 10mm dynamic driver for improved bass and also feature OPPO’s own Enco Live Stereo sound effects with Dolby Atmos support, which provides better audio output. It also features a low latency mode for lag-free gaming and Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity.

The earbuds offer up to 28 hours of battery life with quick charging support. The company claims that 10 minutes of quick charging can provide up to 1 hour of music playback. The overall charging time for earbuds is said to be 90 minutes.

The Enco Buds 2 comes with the AI Deep Noise Cancellation technology for calls that cancel out background noise without affecting the main audio. Additionally, these OPPO earbuds has an IPX4 rating, which indicates it is suitable for light rain or workouts.

It is worth mentioning that the OPPO Enco Buds 2 earbuds are quite old but are touted as impressive earbuds when it comes to their price point. However, if you are looking for newer options, you can also try the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r, Realme Buds T110, and Boult Audio Z40 Pro, among several others.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r is currently priced at Rs 1,699 on the company’s official website, but it offers much more advanced features than the Enco Buds 2. The OnePlus earbuds feature a large 12.4mm drivers, up to 38 hours of battery life, an IP55 rating, and much more, making it a better alternative to the OPPO Enco Buds 2.

On the other hand, the Realme Buds T110 was launched recently in India and offered similar features like 10mm Dynamic Bass driver and AI-ENC Noise Cancellation, but a bigger 38 hours of battery life compared to up to 28 hours on the OPPO earbuds. It is priced at Rs 1,399 on Realme’s official site, hinting they are cheaper than the Enco Buds 2.

Meanwhile, the Boult Audio Z40 Pro offers up to 100 hours of battery life, 13mm drivers, an IPX5 rating, 45ms low latency, and much more. Like the Realme Buds T110, the Boult Audio Z40 Pro is also cheaper than the OPPO Enco Buds 2, as it is priced at Rs 1,299 on Flipkart.
