OPPO A77s 4G specifications, design leaked: Snapdragon 680 SoC, 5000mAh battery

OPPO recently launched its OPPO A77 4G in August. Now, the China-based company is said to be launching its new A-series budget smartphone – OPPO A77s. Although no official launch date has yet been released by the company, but the specifications and design of the smartphone have been leaked.

Ahead of the OPPO A77s launch, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has leaked a poster revealing the design, specs, performance, and two variants of the smartphone i.e., Sky Blue and Starry Black. Whether or not there will be more colour options is not yet clear.

The latest tip claims that the OPPO A77s will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and run on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box. It is confirmed to be a 4G handset and is expected to include 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage with 5GB virtual RAM support. The handset is said to to measure 7.99mm in thickness and weigh 187 grams.

The tip by Ambhore suggests that the handset will flaunt a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 100 percent DCI-P3 for colour-gamut displays. It is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support. The phone has a flat frame with a plastic body and a water-drop notch positioned at the top for the selfie snapper. The shared poster confirms two colour variants: Sky Blue and Starry Black. It also reveals that the handset will be scratch resistant and feature ultra-linear stereo speakers.

Moving to optics, the OPPO A77s will have a dual-camera setup: a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor. An 8MP snapper on the front with night scene selfie and 25 levels of Portrait mode support will take care of selfie and video calling needs.
