OPPO A3 specifications, price, and launch timeline revealed via China Telecom listing

After the OPPO A3 Pro launch, rumours started surfacing online about a potential standard OPPO A3 5G model. The handset has made a silent appearance on China Telecom, thereby confirming its existence. The listing also reveals the launch timeline, price and key specifications of the phone.

OPPO A3 5G specifications revealed

The China Telecom listing reveals (via) the phone bears the model number PKA110.
The same model number was earlier spotted on the TENAA certification and was speculated to be a flat-display version of the OPPO A3 Pro.
The listing suggests the OPPO A3 would measure 162.54 x 75.44 x 7.15 mm and weigh at around 179 grams.

The handset will be powered by “SM6375,” which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC chipset. For context, the Pro version came with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 6nm processor.
The phone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch flat display with 2412 X 1080 pixels resolution and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
The OPPO A3 is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and boot Android 14-based ColorOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
The handset will house a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. We might see an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

The China listing also has renders of the phone, which shows an identical design to the OPPO A3 Pro.
We see a circular module on the back and this houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash.

There is no leather finish on the standard model like on the Pro variant
The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge. The USB Type-C, SIM card tray and speaker vents are at the bottom.
There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges, and narrow bezels.
The listing shows the OPPO A3 in black colour but there could be other options at launch.

OPPO A3 price, sale date (expected)

OPPO A3 China Telecom listing also reveals the price and sale timeline of the phone. According to this, the handset will have a starting price of RMB 2099 (around Rs 24,100) for the 8GB/256GB model, RMB 2299 (approx Rs 26,400) for the 12GB/256GB version, and RMB 2599 (approx Rs 29,900) for the 12GB/512GB variant. The phone will be available in Aurora Purple, Sea of Tranquility Black, and Mountain Stream Green colours.
