OPPO A3 Pro gets BIS certification, could launch as F27 Pro in India

OPPO A3 Pro‘s global launch seems to be nearing close considering the fact that it is making multiple appearances at various certification platforms. The phone was recently spotted at the TDRA certification and this confirmed the marketing name. Now, the OPPO A3 Pro stopped at the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard) certification.

OPPO A3 Pro bags the BIS certification

The OPPO A3 Pro BIS certification, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the phone will bear the model number CPH265/67.
The marketing name and model number of the phone were revealed through the Google Play Console listing earlier.

For those unaware, BIS certification is mandatory for any electronic device to launch in India.
Unfortunately, not much else is revealed about the phone at the moment but this is a good indication to suggest the India launch might be around the corner.
Besides India, we believe the OPPO A3 Pro will expand to other major markets as well.

OPPO A3 Pro: what we know so far

The OPPO A3 Pro launched in China in April and there are chances the hardware might remain the same. The handset sports a 6.7-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is the same screen size and refresh rate as the predecessor.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset paired with Mali G68 GPU for graphics, much like the OPPO A2 Pro from last year. Like the OPPO A2 Pro, the successor has the same 5,000mAh battery and 67W SuperVOOC charging support.

For optics, we get a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the back panel. There is an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. Again, this is the same camera setup as the OPPO A2 Pro. The new OPPO phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

OPPO A3 Pro could launch as F27 series in India

OPPO F27 series is rumoured to launch in India on June 13th. There are speculations the OPPO A3 Pro could be a rebrand of the OPPO F27 series, probably the OPPO F27 Pro or F27 Pro+. This is considering the phones’ design is identical and both feature an IP69 rating. We should learn more details in the next few days.
