OPPO A3 specifications, features

The OPPO A3 Pro sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2412 × 1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200nits peak brightness. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The phone comes in multiple models: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB.

The OPPO A3 runs on Android 14-based ColorOS custom skin out of the box. Moving to cameras, the handset features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary lens. We get an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.

The OPPO phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

What’s new on the OPPO A3?

OPPO A3 succeeds the OPPO A2 from last year. The display size is almost similar at 6.7 inches. However, this time around we get an AMOLED panel instead of an IPS panel on the predecessor. This should offer punchy and immersive visuals. The MediaTek Dimensity 6020 on the OPPO A2 is being replaced by the Snapdragon 695 SoC.

The 33W fast charging speed on the OPPO A2 is bumped to 45W on the new model. The battery capacity remains the same at 5,000mAh. The camera setup is also the same: 50MP + 2MP on the back and an 8MP shooter on the front.
