Earlier, the smartwatch that appeared with the OPWWE234 model number on several certification websites was expected to be the OnePlus Watch 3. But, these recent details hint towards the OnePlus Watch 2R. Tipster Max Jambor on X has posted "OnePlus Watch 2R," which indicates the smartwatch might be launched soon.
Furthermore, the "R" in the name suggests that the upcoming OnePlus smartwatch will likely be priced affordably compared to the OnePlus Watch 2, which was unveiled for Rs 24,999, for Indian consumers. Though not confirmed, the smartwatch might take some features from the OnePlus Watch 2.
Notably, the TUV Rheinland database also hints towards a 500mAh battery, which is said to offer up to 100 hours of battery life. This battery capacity is also present in the OnePlus Watch 2. Meanwhile, the 3C certification indicates that the upcoming OnePlus smartwatch might feature 10W charging.
The OnePlus Watch 2 was launched with a 1.43-inch AMOLED circular display with 1000 nits of peak brightness, the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5, and BES2700 chipset. It includes several health monitoring features, over 100 sports modes, and 5ATM and IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance, alongside MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.
It is worth noting that these details are currently based on speculations and OnePlus might soon come up with an official note. Additionally, OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus Watch 2 in China on June 27th, alongside the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and other products.
