Just days after Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was seen with the OnePlus Open, a new image on the web shows a person holding what appears to be the upcoming OnePlus foldable or the OPPO Find N3 (which have been confirmed to be the same device). We also get a glance at their display crease on another leaked video. These add to the marketing buzz ahead of their respective launches.
The OnePlus Open is tipped to launch on October 19th. OnePlus has started teasing the same on its social handle.
OPPO Find N3 or OnePlus Open hands-on images
In the image shared on the Chinese social media site XiaoHongShu, Chinese businessman, Wang Chi can be seen holding a handset with a circular camera mesa like the leaked renders of OnePlus and OPPO folding phones.
Zoom in and you will see the LED flash lens next to the camera island. Also, you will see that the device is in the folded state.
In both this as well as the Anushka Sharma pics, we see the handset in a grey colour. Ms Sharma did one better as she showed the phone in both its folded and unfolded state.
Meanwhile, in another leak, via a video on the YouTube channel Jagat Review, we see the display crease of the Open or Find N3 isn’t as apparent as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. We also heard before that the device of these devices will be 37 percent smaller compared to the Find N2.
OPPO Find N3 or OnePlus Open specifications (expected)
Now since both Find N3 and Open have been officially suggested to be the same, here is what they are expected to bring to the table:
- Display: Both foldables are likely to bring a 7.82-inch folding AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2440×2268 and a speedy 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, you could get an outer 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2484×1116 and the same 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: Under the hood, the phones are said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, accompanied by the Adreno 740 GPU.
- Memory: You could choose between 12/16GB of RAM, and 256/512/1TB storage options.
- Battery: Inside, we could also get a 4805mAh battery backed by a 100W charging capability.
- Software: They could be running on Color OS 13.1 based on Android 13 at launch.
- Cameras: Their rear camera setup could consist of a 48MP primary lens, a 48MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, you could get front-facing cameras with 32MP and 20MP lenses.
