The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite has a boxy body with a matte finish. The rear panel houses the brand logo in the centre, and a pill-shaped camera module at the top left.

The Vivo Y58 also has a boxy chassis with rounded edges. At the back, it has Vivo branding at the bottom left and a circular camera island at the top left corner.

While the IP54 rating of the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite doesn’t allow you to use it in rain, the Vivo Y58’s IP64 rating should let you use it in light rain. Both phones have a flat display with symmetrical bezels and a cutout for the selfie shooter at the top centre.

While we haven’t reviewed the Vivo Y58 yet, we did test the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC to see which is the better chipset.

Our results show that the Snapdragon 695 scored more points on benchmark platforms and has a better GPU than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. However, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is less power-hungry and more efficient than the Snapdragon 695.

Thus, you can expect better performance from the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite over the Vivo Y58.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite (review) has an edge over the Vivo Y58 thanks to the optical image stabilisation feature in its primary camera. Additionally, its higher resolution front camera makes it a better choice if you often take selfies or voice calls.

However, the Vivo Y58 still offers a solid camera setup. It also features a 50MP primary camera and a depth sensor, but the lack of OIS might result in less stable photos and videos. Its 8MP front camera is decent but falls short compared to the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite’s front camera.

The Vivo Y58 has a larger battery (6,000mAh), likely resulting in slightly longer battery life compared to the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite (5,500mAh). The only advantage of choosing the Vivo Y58 is its bigger battery and a more efficient SoC under the hood. However, the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite has a better overall package than the Vivo Y58.
