This could be our first look at the OnePlus Nord 4

  • The OnePlus Nord 4, renders shared by Android Headlines, will arrive as a successor to the OnePlus Nord 3.
  • First things first, the OnePlus Nord 4 doesn’t look anything like the OnePlus Ace 3V. This is considering the former was supposed to be a rebrand of the Ace 3V.
  • The handset features a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and slim bezels around the screen.
  • The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge. We also see the alert slider on the left spine.
  • The renders clearly show the phone will come with an all-metal design and the entire middle frame has a boxy shape with curved edges for better grip.
  • Flipping the phone to the back, you see a dual-tone design on the top portion where the dual-camera sensors are present along with an LED flash. There is also the OnePlus logo in the middle.
  • The USB Type-C port, speaker vents, and SIM tray section are present on the bottom. The top section houses a secondary microphone.

OnePlus Nord 4: what we know so far

The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to come with a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED Tianma U8+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2150 nits peak brightness. The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. This replaces the Dimensity 9000 SoC on the Nord 3. The chipset could be paired with at least 8GB RAM and probably 128GB/256GB storage options.

The handset is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. This is a jump from a 5,000mA cell and 80W fast charging on the OnePlus Nord 3. The OnePlus Nord 4 will use a 50MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. The predecessor came with 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera sensors.

The handset will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an alert slider. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

OnePlus Nord 4 price in India is tipped to be Rs 31,999, probably for the base model. For comparison, the OnePlus Nord 3 launched at Rs 33,999. The phone is set to launch in India on July 16th alongside the OnePlus Pad 2, Nord Buds 3 Pro, and more.
