The Obsidian Midnight version has a dark black and grey textured finish, the Mercurial Silver edition has a 2D laser-etched design in silver tone, and the Oasis Green variety has a matte-like finish in light green and vibrant dark green on the top half.
The POCO F6 has a plastic build like its predecessor and individual camera rings. The shimmery back panel has a texture to hide smudges and fingerprints. The POCO F6 comes in three colour choices: Black, Green, and Titanium, which has a gold-like finish. All shades have a matte finish.
The POCO F6 has an IP64 rating, while the OnePlus Nord 4 offers IP65 protection against dust and water splashes. However, both devices are only suitable for use in light rain.
OnePlus Nord 4 vs POCO F6: display
While both phones have an AMOLED panel with 1.2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate for a clear and smooth viewing experience, the OnePlus Nord 4 has a slightly bigger display than the POCO F6, offering more screen estate. Both phones have a decent nits peak brightness and should deliver good visibility in sunny conditions.
However, the POCO F6 features a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to safeguard the screen against scratches, while the OnePlus Nord 4’s display doesn’t offer any protection.
OnePlus Nord 4 vs POCO F6: performance
The POCO F6 is one of the best gaming phones under Rs 30,000. It has a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC under the hood compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC at the OnePlus Nord 4’s helm. The benchmark results of these phones speak about their performance.
During our testing, the OnePlus Nord 4 scored 11,69,622 points on AnTuTu and on Geekbench: 1,744 points in the single-core test and 4,365 points in the multi-core test. The POCO F6 scored better on both benchmarking platforms: 15,09,605 on AnTuTu and 1,930 in single-core, with 5,017 in multi-core tests.
OnePlus Nord 4 vs POCO F6: cameras
Both phones feature an akin rear camera setup with a 50MP primary shooter for clear and detailed snaps and an 8MP ultrawide lens for wide-angle shots. While reviewing the POCO F6, we found that the device delivers images with closer tones to add a contrasty look and has a good dynamic range, decent detailing, and colour accuracy.
In the front camera department, the POCO F6 has a better 20MP selfie snapper than the OnePlus Nord 4’s 16MP sensor. In daylight, the POCO F6 captures selfies with near-accurate skin tones but lacks detailed facial features due to noticeable smoothing. The device’s indoor and low-light performance resulted in reduced detail, sharpness, and increased noise. While night mode helps to reduce noise, it further diminishes detail.
