OnePlus Nord 4 launch date has been revealed officially by the company along with some other interesting details. In a note to the media, OnePlus confirmed that the next global launch event will take place in Milan, Italy on July 16th. The media invite for the Summer Launch Event as the company calls it had an all-metal teaser card, a big hint that the upcoming OnePlus Nord phone will have more metal than one expects in a 5G phone.

OnePlus Nord 4 launch event details
OnePlus hasn’t officially revealed the name of the phone yet but the company has confirmed that it is part of the Nord series. With the OnePlus Nord CE4 and Nord CE4 Lite announced already, that leaves the Nord 4. And recent rumours and leaks suggest the same too. And yes, the phone will be coming to India as well, as suggested by a teaser posted on the OnePlus India page on X.
The metal teaser card sent out to the media had a message, “Some say it’s impossible in the 5G era to make a smartphone with the strength, sophistication and enduring quality of metal. We say…Never Settle.” This backs rumours that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4 will feature a metal unibody design, something that smartphone OEMs have not been able to bring in recent years with the advent of 5G. To recall, the OnePlus 5T was the last phone from the brand to offer a metal unibody design before switching to glass on the OnePlus 6.
This week, a tipster on X shared the OnePlus Nord 4’s price in India, specifications, and an alleged live image of the phone’s back revealing a metal and glass unibody design.
OnePlus Nord 4 leaked price in India and specifications
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Nord 4 will be priced around Rs 31,999. Interestingly, its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 3, was launched exactly a year ago at Rs 33,999. Is it possible that the successor will be announced at a lower price point? We will know the answer during the launch event on July 16th.
