OnePlus 13 will be the brand’s next flagship offering and it’s expected to debut by the end of this year. A new leak reveals more details about the OnePlus 13’s camera specifications. The handset is expected to continue with a triple-camera setup at the back. Up front would be a single camera for selfies and video calls. Here’s what has been leaked about the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus 13 camera details leaked
- OnePlus 13 will feature an all-Sony Lytia sensor lineup, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. It will reportedly house a Sony LYT808 sensor for the primary camera and two LYT600 sensors for the second and third cameras.
- The primary camera on the OnePlus 13 could be a 50MP camera according to previous leaks. However, it has also been suggested that the OnePlus 13 could feature a Sony IMX882 ultra-wide angle lens and a Sony IMX882 3x periscope sensor.
- If we compare it to the OnePlus 12, it’s the same 50MP Sony LYT808 sensor. The periscope and ultra-wide lenses would be receiving upgrades. Since there are still months to go, it’s better to wait and see what upgrades OnePlus has planned.
There have been rumours about a possible design change for the OnePlus 13 camera setup as well. It could feature a square camera island as opposed to the circular one we’ve been seeing so far. These are only mock-up renders so we’re yet to see a more realistic image of the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus 13: what we know so far
OnePlus 13 will most likely feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which means a launch by the end of this year since the chipset will debut in October. It could launch with 12GB and 16GB RAM options. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 6.8-inch 2K 8T LTPO customised display.
The upcoming OnePlus flagship could pack a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. However, it’s rumoured that there might not be wireless charging on the OnePlus 13. This doesn’t seem likely though as the OnePlus 12 has this feature and it wouldn’t make sense for the new flagship to not offer it.
