Motorola Razr 50 series specifications (expected)
Razr 50
Though not confirmed, the Motorola Razr 50 is anticipated to come with a 6.9-inch FHD+ OLED main display and an upgraded 3.6-inch cover display with a 120Hz refresh rate instead of a 1.5-inch OLED cover display with 144Hz refresh rate on the Razr 40.
The Razr 50 might feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset with atleast 6GB RAM. There might be a slight downgrade in terms of battery as the Razr 50 is said to come with a 3,950mAh battery with 33W fast charging compared to the 4,200mAh battery on the Razr 40.
The Motorola Razr 50 is expected to flaunt a 50MP main camera and a 13MP secondary camera. To recall, last year’s Razr 40 features a 64MP sensor. The upcoming phone might feature a 32MP selfie shooter.
Razr 50 Ultra
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra might flaunt a 6.9-inch FHD+ OLED inner display and a 3.6-inch cover display, similar to the predecessor. However, the refresh rate might go down to 120Hz instead of 165Hz seen of the Razr 40 Ultra.
It is speculated that the Ultra variant will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 paired with atleast 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will likely pack two 50MP sensors on the rear and a 32MP sensor on the front.
The upcoming clamshell-designed smartphone is expected to house a 4,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging compared to the 3,800mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging on the predecessor.
It is worth noting that these phones will compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, OPPO Find N3 Flip, Tecno Phantom V Flip, and the Honor Magic V Flip, which was recently launched in China, among several others. Stay tuned for more updates.
