The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a similar design to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. However, the specifications of both devices are completely different. While they both have similar display specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a better resolution, but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra offers higher peak brightness.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also has a significantly better Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor than the Edge 50 Pro's Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. You also get a considerable upgrade in the camera department over the Edge 50 Pro's 50MP primary, 10 MP telephoto, and 13MP ultrawide sensors with the Edge 50 Ultra's 50MP main camera, 64MP telephoto lens, and 50MP ultrawide lens.
The Edge 50 Ultra flaunt a 6.7-inch pOLED panel with support for a 144Hz refresh rate and 2,500 nits of peak brightness. The device draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The all-new Edge 50 Ultra features a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. It has a 50MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
It also comes with an IP68 rating (you can use the phone in the rain), an in-display fingerprint sensor, Moto AI, and runs on Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box. The company promises 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches with the device.
