Motorola Edge 30 goes on sale in India today, here’s how you can get it at Rs 25,999

Motorola Edge 30 launched in India last week after debuting globally recently. The handset is a cheaper alternative to the Motorola Edge 30 Pro from earlier this year. The phone comes with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, triple camera lenses on the back and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It is touted to be the world’s slimmest 5G phone measuring in at just 6.79mm and weighing in at just 155 grams. The Moto Edge 30 lacks a 3.5mm audio jack but has stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.

Motorola Edge 30 ships with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, 33W fast charging support, 50MP primary rear camera, 32MP selfie snapper, 33W fast charging support, 4020mAh battery and Android 12 OS.

Motorola Edge 30 is priced at Rs 27,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The company is offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 via the HDFC, which brings down the price to Rs 25,999 and Rs 27,999, respectively. The phone comes in Aurora Green and Meteor Grey colours and will be on sale via Flipkart from 12 PM IST.

The Motorola Edge 30 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 10-bit colour, DCI-P3 colour space and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC paired with Adreno 642L GPU. It packs up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB ] of internal storage that is not expandable. The phone boots Android 12 based MyUX custom skin out of the box.

The Motorola Edge 30 is equipped with a 4,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging technology. Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and NFC. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C Audio, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support.

The Motorola Edge 30 features a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary lens with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide unit with a 2.5cm macro option and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
