On July 8, 2024, MediaTek held the MediaTek Connect Launch Event Powered by 91mobiles. MediaTek Connect is a new community for tech enthusiasts offering access to MediaTek devices, event invites, and more. During the event, participants could explore various MediaTek-powered devices, learn about MediaTek products, and watch the live launch of CMF Phone 1 and its accessories. Additionally, attendees enjoyed a fireside chat on the new Dimensity 7300 chipset and Phone 1, followed by BGMI matches and a Scavenger Hunt with exciting prizes.
A lot to experience
Calling the event a success would be an understatement. Over 400 fans and influencers attended the event over the course of the day. The attendees check out the many MediaTek-powered devices such as smartphones and laptops. Additionally, they got to experience virtual reality gaming on the Sony PSVR2 headset that also sports a MediaTek processor. It was a true testament to the versatility of MediaTek processors.
Apart from this, the event also had a number of other fun activities to keep attendees entertained. This included a couple of BGMI matches as well as a Scavenger Hunt. The winners of these received exciting prizes that includes the likes of the CMF Watch Pro 2, Buds Pro 2, and the brand new CMF Phone 1. Speaking of which…
CMF Phone 1 in the house!
Another major highlight was that attendees also watched the livestream of the launch of the brand new CMF Phone 1, which the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor powers. The launch was attended by notable tech experts like Abhishek Baxi, Abhishek Bhatnagar, Prabhu Ram, and more. After the launch, there was a fireside chat between Rajiv Makhni, Anuj Sidharth and Akis Evangelidis, wherein they discussed the new smartphone the chipset that powers it among other things.
After this, attendees were free to check out the CMF Phone 1 experience zone where they could personally experience the new smartphone and check out all that it has to offer.
Social media was abuzz with the event, with real-time posts from over 200 attendees, which was a testament to its popularity. It was an excellent launch event for MediaTek Connect and also served as an excellent platform for attendees to experience the launch of the new MediaTek-powered CMF Phone 1. Add the fantastic prizes to the mix, and it was a memorable day for everyone involved!
