Jio has discontinued the Rs 39 and Rs 69 prepaid recharge plans for Jio Phone ahead of the Jio Phone Next launch tomorrow.

The Jio Phone Rs 39 plan offers 100MB of daily data and a validity of 14 days. It also offers unlimited calls to any network and 100 SMS. Customers also get access to Jio apps. Similarly, the Rs 69 plan offers 0.5GB of data per day, unlimited calls, 100 SMS per day, access to the Jio suite of apps, and 14 days of validity. Both these plans are now been discontinued. It isn't clear whether the telecom network would introduce new plans to replace them. Furthermore, in the view of coronavirus pandemic across the country, Jio has offered benefits like 300 minutes of free calling and buy 1 get 1 free recharge offer for Jio Phone customers, both of which are now been discontinued.
Separately, Jio had recently introduced four new plans bundled with revamped Disney+ Hotstar Mobile plan. These include Rs 499, Rs 699, Rs 888 and Rs 2,599. The latter offers a validity of 365 days, 2GB of data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited calling to any network. The Jio Rs 499 plan offers unlimited voice calls, 3GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and access to Jio apps. The Jio Rs 666 prepaid plan offers a 56 days validity and brings unlimited voice calls, 3GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and access to the Jio suite of apps. The Jio Rs 888 plan offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, access to Jio apps and a free Disney Plus Hotstar mobile.
