iQOO Z9 Lite 5G is expected to launch soon as the brand’s entry-level 5G phone. The phone has been spotted on the Google Play Console database revealing its key specifications. Although it was previously rumoured to be a rebranded Vivo T3 Lite 5G, the chipset mentioned in this listing is different from that phone. Here, check it out:
iQOO Z9 Lite 5G specifications
The Google Play Console listing shows the device with model number iQOO I2306. This model is iQOO Z9 Lite 5G as per the Bluetooth SIG database. The folks over at TheTechOutlook spotted this listing.
Memory: From it, we gather the tested model has 4GB of RAM. There could be other variants too.
Software: The device boots Android 14 and the skin on top could be Funtouch OS 14. Let’s see if iQOO matches the software update policy of iQOO Z9, which has two years of Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches.
Processor: We learn from the chipset’s codename, i.e., MT6853T that it is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U. The listing shows the processor has two Cortex A76 performance cores running at 2.0GHz and six Cortex A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz. The performance cores here are underclocked compared to other Dimensity 800U smartphones like Realme X7, Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, Vivo V21, and OPPO A94 5G.
The accompanying GPU is Arm Mali-G57 MC3 with 748MHz.

Meanwhile, the Vivo T3 Lite, which some believe this phone is a rebranded model of, comes with a Dimensity 6300 SoC, featuring 2 Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz, 6 Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and the same Mali-G57 GPU.
Display: Coming to the surface, the iQOO phone’s screen has a 720×1612 resolution and 300 PPI pixel density. The Vivo T3 Lite also has an HD+ resolution panel but with lesser pixel density.
Last but not least the device thumbnail in the Google Play Console listing looks similar to the Vivo T3 Lite or the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G’s leaked render shared by tipster Stufflistings. That includes a punch-hole display and a dual rear camera setup.
Now since these details are based on leaks and hearsay, we suggest you take them with the proverbial pinch of salt. Since the phone is said to launch in mid-July, we should get more information in the days leading to the launch.
