iQOO 13 key specifications leak again, Pro variant might not be released

Highlights
  • iQOO 13 is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
  • The smartphone could come with a flat 2K display.
  • It’s also speculated that the iQOO 13 might not have a Pro version.

iQOO 13 will be the brand’s next flagship offering, and it’s expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. This chipset is due to release in October this year so we’re still months away from the iQOO 13 launch. But we’re already hearing quite a lot about the new iQOO phone, and the latest leak reveals more specifications.

iQOO 13 key details leaked

  • Leaker Digital Chat Station recently posted some details about an upcoming iQOO flagship smartphone most likely the iQOO 13.
  • According to this leak, the iQOO 13 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, and it will come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
  • The smartphone is also tipped to feature a flat OLED panel with a 2K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
  • While it isn’t specifically mentioned that the phone being talked about is the iQOO 13, DCS’s reply to a question suggests it’s the standard model. According to the leaker, if these specifications are final then the Pro model might not launch at all.

iQOO’s flagship series has two models: the standard and the Pro version. The Pro model stays exclusive to China, while the standard version launches in other countries including India. But this time it looks like iQOO might remove the Pro variant from the series. It’s still too early to confirm though so we should wait for more details on the iQOO 13.

iQOO 13: what we know so far

More details about the iQOO 13 have been leaked previously. The iQOO 13 is tipped to launch with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. It is also rumoured to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The specifications revealed so far suggest the iQOO 13 is going to be another powerful offering from the brand.

The iQOO 13 should arrive in India by the end of this year after its China debut. Its predecessor, the iQOO 12 launched here in December last year. The iQOO 12 is one of the best flagships in the country and one that isn’t priced too high like its rivals. You can read our full review to know more about the iQOO 12.
