iPhone 14 Plus available for as low as Rs 51,999 on Flipkart: should you buy?

The iPhone 14 Plus launched in India in 2022 as a new large-sized model in the lineup replacing the iPhone 13 mini. It’s the same as the iPhone 14 but with a bigger display and longer battery life. The iPhone 14 Plus has been available at a discounted price of Rs 58,999. It will now go on sale for as low as Rs 51,999 on Flipkart with a bank offer. Here are all the details. 

iPhone 14 Plus discount on Flipkart

• The iPhone 14 Plus will be available at Rs 55,999 from June 28th to June 29th on Flipkart. This will be a discount over its current selling price of Rs 58,999.
• You can get it lower with an additional discount of Rs 4,000 with a Bank of Baroda card. This would make the effective price of the iPhone 14 Plus Rs 51,999.
• There are more offers on the iPhone 14 Plus including a discount of Rs 3,000 on non-EMI transactions and Rs 4,000 on EMI transactions.

The offers mentioned above are for the 128GB model of the iPhone 14 Plus. It isn’t clear whether the other models of the iPhone 14 Plus will also be discounted during this period. The iPhone 14 Plus starts at Rs 79,900 for the 128GB variant. 

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 14 Plus has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and it’s powered by the A15 Bionic chipset. It comes with up to 512GB of onboard storage. The iPhone 14 Plus has a 12MP wide-angle primary camera, a 12MP secondary ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP front camera. It runs iOS 16 but is upgradable to iPhone 17 and even the upcoming iOS 18. 

Should you buy?

The iPhone 14 Plus (review) discount does make it a tempting buy. However, it’s worth considering that the device is almost two years old now. But if we had to talk about the phone alone then it is a capable performer with good cameras, and it offers a long battery life. 

On the upside, the smartphone performs well, clicks stunning photos with its camera setup and thanks to Apple’s longevous software update roadmap, will undoubtedly stand the test of time. 

If you’re on the lookout for an iPhone with a big screen we can recommend the iPhone 14 Plus as you won’t get any other similar model for the same price. The iPhone 14 Plus also gets all the other things done well but it does feel slightly dated in comparison to its siblings and competing Android phones. So we recommend it only if your eyes are set on an iPhone and a big screen for entertainment.
