Honor 200 series India launch date, colour options officially revealed

The Honor 200 series, consisting of the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro, has already been launched in some global markets. However, these phones are now officially coming to India. The company has confirmed the launch date of the Honor 200 series and has also revealed some details about the upcoming phones, including their colour variants.

Honor 200 series India launch date, other details

The smartphone brand has announced that the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are all set to be launched for Indian consumers on July 18th at 12:30 PM (IST).
Post-launch, the Honor 200 series phones will be available for purchase via Amazon, retail stores, and the company’s official website in the country.
The upcoming Honor 200 will launch in Moonlight White and Black colour options, while the Pro variant will flaunt Ocean Cyan and Black colours.
The company has also revealed that these smartphones will feature a quad-curved display and operate on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 operating system.

Honor 200 series specifications

While the company did not reveal any other details about these upcoming Honor devices, they are official in several countries, indicating that their features are already known. Here are the features and specs of the global variant to help you understand what the phones might look like.

Display: The Honor 200 is launched globally with a 6.7-inch curved 120Hz OLED display with up to 4,000 nits peak brightness, while the Honor 200 Pro has a 6.78-inch display with similar features. Notably, the display sizes of both phones are the same as those of their predecessors, the Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro.
Chipset: The Honor 200 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, which we have seen on phones like the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Vivo V40, and OnePlus Nord CE 4. Meanwhile, the Pro variant comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is said to be a bit more powerful than the former and is seen in Realme GT 6, Xiaomi 14 Civi, and more.
Rear cameras: Both Honor 200 series phones flaunt a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, a 50MP OIS-enabled telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The camera setup is similar to the predecessors, but the Pro variant’s 50MP telephoto camera is upgraded from the 32MP telephoto lens on the predecessor.
Selfie camera: On the front, these Honor phones will pack a 50MP selfie shooter. The Honor 100 was launched with a 50MP camera., while the Honor 100 Pro has a dual selfie camera setup consisting of 50MP+2MP sensors.
Battery: Regarding battery, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro house a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging support, which is a slight upgrade compared to the 5,000mAh battery on the predecessors.
