HMD is speculated to be working on a Nokia Lumia 920-inspired smartphone, likely touted as HMD Skyline. Recently, the design of the rumoured phone surfaced online, and now it has been spotted on the Geekbench certification website, which hints at its chipset and a few other details. HMD Skyline Geekbench details

  • The Geekbench listing (via) reveals that the HMD Skyline’s motherboard is codenamed “Tomcat” and scored 1027 points and 2857 points on the single-core and multi-core tests.
  • The phone has been spotted with an octa-core processor with four cores running at 1.96GHz. Meanwhile, the other four run at 2.40GHz.
  • This hints towards the Qualcomm snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which was also mentioned in some recent reports.
  • The Geekbench listing also reveals that the phone might feature at least 8GB RAM and operate on the Android 14 operating system.

The certification website doesn’t reveal any other details about the HMD Skyline. However, it is worth noting that several leaks and rumours have already appeared regarding the yet-to-be-launched smartphone, including its price and features.   • Display: The display size of the HMD Skyline is not known, but it is said to flaunt an FHD+ OLED 120Hz display, seen on several phones such as Xiaomi 14 and RedMagic 9 Pro, among others.
  • Chipset: The HMD phone is tipped to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which is said to be good and is featured in phones like POCO X6 and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.
  • Cameras: The HMD Skyline might come with a 108MP main camera, an ultra-wide sensor, and a macro or depth lens. Phones like the Redmi 13 4G or Infinix Note 40 come equipped with a 108MP sensor.
  • Selfie camera: The upcoming HMD phone is tipped to pack a 32MP sensor on the front for selfies, which has been seen on several mid-range phones like the Infinix GT 20 Pro 5G, and Realme GT 6T.
