Alleged Google Pixel 9 in pink spotted in action in new video ahead of launch

Highlights
  • The alleged pink Google Pixel 9 has been spotted again.
  • This video shows the Pixel 9 in action.
  • It looks like the vanilla Pixel 9, which has been rumoured to come in a pink colour.

Google Pixel 9 was spotted in a new pink colour recently. While this was a video it only showed the phone’s design. Another video has gone live showing the pink Pixel 9 in action. Google has often gone for lighter shades but this is a very bright pink colour for the new Pixel. It’s similar to the ‘Peony’ wallpaper that was recently leaked for the vanilla Pixel 9 series.

Google Pixel 9 in pink spotted again

  • A new video circulating on Facebook shows the Google Pixel 9 in pink. Here, we can see the phone from all angles and it’s also turned on.
  • At the back, the very large and protruding camera visor is visible housing two sensors. The vanilla Pixel 9 is said to come with two rear cameras.
  • The pink Pixel 9 can also be seen running Pixel UI with Google apps on the home screen.
  • While we can’t verify if this is indeed the Pixel 9, the phone does look quite like the rumoured one. Judging by the leaked Pixel 9 wallpapers, there is one called Peony (pink) so we can assume that there will be a pink colour variant. Google releases matching wallpapers for its Pixel devices.

Google Pixel 9 will be the vanilla model in the flagship series. It’s expected to feature a 6.34-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The new Pixel will be powered by the Google Tensor G4 chipset. The Pixel 9 series is also said to offer the ‘Adaptive Touch’ feature, which adjusts the touchscreen sensitivity based on several factors.

This time, there might be three Pixel 9 phones including a Pixel 9 Pro XL. Google would be reviving the ‘XL’ lineup after the Pixel 4. All three phones would vary in terms of size and possibly other factors too like camera and battery. The Pixel 9 series is scheduled to take place on August 13th, much earlier than the usual October timeline.
