Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro prices in India, specifications, and release date have been officially revealed. The company announced the newest flagship Pixel phones at its Made by Google event. The phones are up for pre-orders in the country starting today and will go on sale later this month. The new Pixel phones come with the latest Tensor G3 chipset, 120Hz OLED displays, and up to 1TB of storage. The Pixel 8 Pro also touts a new sensor at the back that can measure the body temperature.

Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro price in India, release date

Google Pixel 8 India price starts at Rs 75,999 for the 128GB storage variant.
Google Pixel 8 Pro is priced at Rs 1,06,999 for the 128GB storage model.
Flipkart is offering up to Rs 9,000 bank discount and up to Rs 4,000 additional off on exchange, bringing the effective price of the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro to Rs 64,999 and Rs 93,999, respectively.
The new Google products are already up for pre-orders in India via Flipkart. Deliveries are expected to start from October 14th.

Google Pixel 8 series design, colour options

Overall, the Pixel 8 series looks much like the previous generation. But this time, Google has tucked the cameras together. The Pixel 8 series is also made of 100 per cent recycled aluminum. The new Pixel phones are also made with at least 18 per cent recycled materials.

On the Pixel 8 Pro, you get a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 matte back with a polished aluminium frame, while the Pixel 8 has a Gorilla Glass Victus back with a matte aluminium frame. You can get the Pixel 8 Pro in three colour options: Obsidian and Bay colours. The Pixel 8 comes in three colour options: Obsidian, Hazel and Rose.

Display: The Pixel 8 Pro features a 6.7-inch OLED display (1344 x 2992 resolution) with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Glass Victus 2 protection, and 2,400 nits peak brightness. It’s also an Always-on display with a punch-hole front camera.
Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Tensor G3 chipset paired with Titan M2 security microprocessor.
RAM and storage: The phone packs 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM paired with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. In the US, it comes with 1TB of storage as well.
Cameras: The Pixel 8 Pro has a 50MP wide angle lens, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with Super Res Zoom up to 30x zoom. For selfies, there’s a 10.5MP front camera on the Pixel 8 Pro. Software: The Pixel 8 Pro runs Android 14 out-of-the-box. It will also receive 7 years of OS, security and Feature Drop updates.
