Samsung is using quality-of-life indicators like creativity, productivity, physical health, and social relationships to suggest that those who use Mobile AI have a higher quality of life than those who don’t. Samsung also notes that the majority (around 52 percent) of users are enthusiastic about mobile AI’s potential and are ready to embrace it more as the tech advances. As many as 46 percent of the respondents are likely to use mobile AI on a smartphone, while PC AI use follows at 32 percent.

The most prominent AI use case was the AI translations which allow users to speak with someone who doesn’t speak the same language. Users from Germany, the UK and the US ranked it as their top AI use case. Those who participated in the survey in France and Korea agreed to the same but ranked it as the second most used AI use case. The French report the highest levels of productivity, with 73 percent of frequent AI users saying they feel productive compared to the global average of 63 percent.

Samsung says that 16 percent of the respondents report using mobile AI frequently and also they are about 1.4x more likely to rate their quality of life as good to very good compared to rare AI users. In South Korea, the AI reception has been pretty great as 76 percent of Koreans are in for embracing more AI as tools become more available and advanced. In South Korea, frequent AI users are more likely to also report a higher quality of life than any other market: a difference of 84 percent.

Interestingly, 75 percent of frequent AI users are open to more new AI experiences compared to 45 percent of rare users. Frequent mobile AI users rank higher in feeling productive (63 percent), followed by feeling financially secure (57 percent) and regularly expressing their creative side (54 percent). Samsung says that rare mobile AI users rank lower in every quality-of-life marker.

The big difference between those who use and not use AI is how creative one can get. Around 54 percent of frequent users report they feel while only 25 percent of rare users report the same.
