MSI has announced a ton of new AI-enhanced laptops in its popular gaming and productivity-focused lineups at Computex 2024. These include the Stealth, Modern, Prestige, Creator series laptops, and more. Check out the details below:
MSI Stealth Mercedes series laptops: specifications, features
The Stealth Mercedes-AMG Motorsport is a co-branded laptop by both MSI and Mercedes. The brands have now refreshed the series with the addition of an 18-inch variant and upgraded the original 16-inch variant with next-gen hardware. The MSI Stealth 18 Mercedes features an 18-inch Mini-LED display with a UHD resolution (3840x2400p), 16:10 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
The Intel Core Ultra 9 185H chipset handles all the processing needs of the laptop, along with an NVIDIA RTX 4080 12GB GDDR6 VRAM mobile GPU for graphics. It can support up to 96GB of DDR5 RAM and comes with 2 NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD slots.
The Stealth 16 Mercedes features a 16-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution (2560×1600), 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, a 240Hz refresh rate, and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The laptop also comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor paired with an NVIDIA RTX 4070 8GB GDDR6 VRAM GPU. The laptop shares its memory specifications with the Stealth 18.
MSI Claw 8 AI+: specs, features
The brand unveiled the Claw 8 AI+, a Windows 11 gaming handheld powered by Intel’s Lunar Lake processor. In addition, the new Claw 8 AI+ will feature a Thunderbolt 4-supported USB-C port, improved tactile feel of the LB and RB buttons, improved battery capacity, and a lighter wall-mounted charger. Users will also receive a one-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass after one month of release. MSI also unveiled a Fallout-themed Claw at Computex 2024.
MSI Summit & Prestige series laptops: specs, features
The MSI Prestige series is available in 13, 14, and 16-inch sizes, featuring ultra-light bodies and long-lasting batteries. The Prestige 13 AI+ Evo weighs only 990g and includes a 75Wh battery. The series also includes a 5MP webcam for high-quality streaming and meetings. The new Prestige series laptops are powered by Intel Core Ultra processors, codenamed “Lunar Lake,” offering up to three times the AI performance of previous models.
The Summit series comes equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors and offers a lightweight design, and comprehensive security, and the MSI Pen 2 stylus supports MPP 2.6, making it a versatile 13-inch flip laptop.
MSI Modern series: features
The new Modern series includes 13, 14, and 15-inch sizes and is well-known for its comfortable keyboards and lightweight designs. The new Modern series laptops also feature an RJ-45 wired network port, providing a more stable internet connection.
MSI Stealth A16 AI+ & Creator A16 AI+ series: features
The new Stealth and Creator series are 16-inch thin & light laptops that feature the new AMD Radeon 800M integrated graphics, which claims to offer 33 percent more graphic cores than the previous generation. The series also features AMD’s new Ryzen AI 300 series processors paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series laptop GPUs for additional graphical power, making these capable gaming machines.
The Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+ feature a lightweight magnesium-aluminium alloy body, powerful Cooler Boost 5 cooling, and a plethora of ports, making them balanced, lightweight 16-inch gaming and creator laptops.
