CMF has revealed that the Watch Pro 2 will have interchangeable bezels, allowing users to change them on the fly. We haven’t seen many watches with this feature, so it’s good to see Nothing experimenting with its product designs. Although the teaser shared by the brand doesn’t exactly reveal how this bezel swap will work, we still learn a thing or two. This is interesting since the company’s debut phone, the CMF Phone 1, which launches on the same date as the new watch, also comes with self design customisation.
CMF Watch Pro 2 design: bezels and more
CMF has teased this interchangeable bezel feature of Watch Pro 2 on X.com. We can see CMF brand ambassador, actress Rashmika Mandanna, wearing the watch on one wrist while using the other hand to swap the bezel.
Although in the image, the bezel matches the colour of the rest of the watch’s body, we assume there would be other colour and design options.
The Watch Pro 2 variant shown in the image has the CMF-signature orange-coloured band. Meanwhile, a recently leaked image shows the watch in a black/grey variant.
The watch body seems to be made of polycarbonate only. It is shiny in the officially shared image while it is matte in the leaked image. Even the bezels appear to be boxy in one image while it’s rounded in another.
You can properly see the watch’s circular dial and the top-right side crown. We can’t see any anchor points, so the bezels may be attached magnetically. So, it isn’t like the screwing mechanism on Gucci 11/12 (also called Gucci 1100L) interchangeable watch.
Last but not least, there appears to be CMF branding on the watch’s bezel and the strap.
Well, that’s about the colour, material, and finish of this watch, hardware-wise.
In another official post a few days back, we saw the different watch faces that will be available for the Watch Pro 2. They all looked unique and within the Nothing/CMF’s design language.
We expect to have more details about the watch in the days leading up to its launch. CMF Watch Pro 2 is set to launch in India on July 8th along with CMF Buds Pro 2 and CMF Phone 1.
