Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is gearing up to unveil its first phone, dubbed the CMF Phone 1 in India and globally on July 8th. The company is busy building up anticipation around the announcement with a series of teasers. While we wait for the launch, the CMF Phone 1 has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. This reveals some already-known specifications like the chipset. Besides this, the phone also appeared on the NBTC certification.
CMF Phone 1 Geekbench scores revealed
- The CMF Phone (1) Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, reveals the model number Nothing A015.
- The phone has managed to score 1016 in the single-core round and 2630 in the multi-core segment.
- In comparison, the Nothing Phone (2a) has scored 1068 points in the single-core round and 2,454 in the multi-core round.
- CMF Phone 1 has a slightly better score in the multi-core round but there shouldn’t be any major performance differences.
- The listing shows the phone would come with Android 14 OS and 6GB RAM. There should be other options at launch.
- The motherboard section mentions Tetris and has 8 cores, with four cores clocking at 2.0GHz and the other four at 2.50GHz.
- The chipset in question is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which is already confirmed by the brand.
The NBTC certification also shows the same A015 model number. This also confirms the marketing name and there will be 5G network support.
CMF Phone 1 customisable back cover
In related news, CMF by Nothing has announced Rashmika Mandanna, a popular Indian actress, as the brand ambassador for CMF products. The company confirmed the display and camera specs of the CMF Phone 1 already. It officially unveiled the customisable design of the CMF Phone 1.
The phone would come in a replaceable rear cover and there will be four colours: Black, Light Green, Orange and Blue. While the former two will have a subtle texture-like design, the latter two will feature a vegan leather layer embedded on top.
The new teaser images show interchangeable accessories like a stand, a lanyard connector, and more to connect to the part of the rear cover.
