CMF Phone 1 confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, 120Hz Super AMOLED display

CMF Phone 1 India launch is scheduled for July 8th. It’s the first phone from the Nothing sub-brand. Alongside the CMF Phone 1, Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2 will also debut the same day. Ahead of the launch, CMF has been teasing the Phone 1 gradually revealing key details about the device. It has now officially confirmed the chipset and display details of the CMF Phone 1.

CMF Phone 1 chipset, display confirmed

CMF Phone 1 will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC. It’s an octa-core process built on the 4nm process from TMSC. CMF says the Dimensity 7300 5G chipset makes the Phone 1 “one of the fastest and power efficient smartphones in the segment.”
This chipset ensures improved efficiency, and reduced battery drain and it also extends usage times.
It’s looking good on paper but we’ll get to know the CMF Phone 1’s performance once we review it and put the device through different tests.
The CMF Phone 1 is also confirmed to feature a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

CMF Phone 1: what we know so far

Display: The CMF Phone 1 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display.
Cameras: It’s expected to feature a 50MP primary camera (Sony sensor) and a depth sensor at the back. For selfies, the CMF Phone 1 could feature a 16MP front camera.
RAM and storage: The CMF Phone 1 is tipped to launch with 6GB and 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The smartphone might offer expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card.
Software: The handset will most likely run the latest Android 14 with a custom skin maybe Nothing OS.
Battery, charging: It’s tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Price: The CMF Phone 1 is claimed to cost Rs 15,999 for the 6GB+128GB model and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB+128GB model after introductory discounts. Without offers, it could start at Rs 19,999.
