CMF Phone 1 camera specifications teased ahead of July 8th launch

The CMF Phone 1 is set to launch in India on July 28th, and it looks like the brand is on a spree to share key details about the upcoming smartphone. Following some details about its display and chipset, the brand has now revealed the camera specifications of the CMF Phone 1. It is speculated that the CMF Phone 1 will be launched as an affordable smartphone in India.

CMF Phone 1 camera details

Though X (formerly Twitter), CMF by Nothing has teased the camera details of the upcoming CMF Phone 1.
As per the company, the CMF Phone 1 will feature a dual rear camera setup.
The official teaser shared by the brand confirms a Sony 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens, which corroborates recent reports.

CMF by Nothing mentioned that the camera will be equipped with the Ultra XDR algorithm for enhanced images with brightness and contrast.
Additionally, there is a second lens, which is said to be a depth sensor. However, the company did not share details about it.
The images posted on the microblogging site indicate that the CMF Phone 1 will be available in shades of Black, and Orange.

Furthermore, tipster Yogesh Brar shared details on X about the replacement shell (or case) of the phone, showing that the screws can be removed to replace the back plate, which aligns with recent reports that the phone might come with a removable back plate for better personalisation.

CMF Phone 1: what to expect

The CMF Phone 1 will boast a 120Hz Super AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Additionally, it is confirmed to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G SoC, which is claimed to offer improved efficiency and enhanced gaming experience.

Though not confirmed, the CMF Phone 1 will likely offer a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. Also, it is said to operate on the Android 14 operating system with 3 years of security patches and 2 years of OS upgrades.

Regarding its price, the CMF Phone 1 is tipped to be priced at Rs 15,999 for the base 6GB+128GB storage and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant following discounts. However, the phone could start at Rs 19,999 without offers.
