Gangs of Wasseypur

This two-part crime thriller by Anurag Kashyap is some of the best work in crime thrillers from Bollywood. Set in a small, criminal town of Wasseypur in Bihar, GoW is the story of the crime, politics, hilarity, and relationships that take place between gangs in this city. Specifically, it focuses on the stories of two feuding families, the Khans and the Singhs, showing us their rivalries that take place over a period of three generations. With an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadda, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Pankaj Tripathi, among others, it is tough to get it wrong honestly.
