ASUS is gearing up to launch the new ROG series phone, dubbed the ROG Phone 8. There could be three models in the lineup: the ROG Phone 8, the ROG Phone 8 Pro, and the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. Today, the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate was spotted on Geekbench with key specifications mentioned, including the chipset, RAM, and software. Let’s take a look.
ASUS ROG 8 Ultimate Geekbench details
- The ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate bears the model number ASUS_AI2401_D.
- The Geekbench listing, as spotted by MySmartPrice, shows the phone runs on Android 14 OS and 24GB RAM.
- This comes after the 16GB RAM model had appeared on the same benchmarking platform.
- The motherboard section confirms the upcoming gaming phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
- The handset has managed to score 2,235 in the single-core test and 7,098 in the multicore test on the Geekbench database. In comparison, the 16GB RAM model scored 2,213 points in the single-core test, and 7,408 points in the multi-core segment.
Besides the 16GB and 24GB RAM options, Android 14 OS, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, we know the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will come with 65W fast charging support. Other than these, other details of the phone are kept under wraps at the moment but we believe the ROG Phone 8 lineup might debut early next year.
