Apple WWDC 2024 schedule officially revealed: time, what to expect

Apple has shared the time and schedule for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2024. The event will take place from June 10th to June 14th, as rumoured. The first day will be when we can expect updates to Apple software like iOS 18, macOS 15, and more. Apple’s microsite for this event reveals what else is in store.

Apple WWDC 2024 schedule

• June 10th at 10:00 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST): Apple Keynote, wherein the company will reveal the latest software.
  
  This could include Project Greymatter, a set of on-device AI tools baked into core apps like Safari, Photos and Notes and system functions like enhanced notifications. Apple software could rely on cloud-based AI only for heavy tasks.
  
  There is also a rumour that macOS 15 could get a revamped system settings menu.
  
  We haven’t heard of any hardware announcement rumours yet. 
• June 10th at 1:00 PM PDT (1:30 AM IST): Platforms State of the Union, wherein the company talks in depth about the software announcement made in the keynote. This is mainly targeted at developers.

• Online labs, technical assistance and in-depth consultations with Apple experts to implement new Apple software and technologies announced at WWDC 2024. You must be an Apple Developer Program member or an Apple Developer Enterprise Program member to access this. 
• Over 100+ sessions and curated guides to help you understand the newly announced updates and features.
• 50 winners of Apple’s Swift Student Challenge are invited to have a 3-day experience at Apple Park with special activities.
• Apple Design Awards winners will be announced. This year’s finalists are given here.

• You can stream this year’s WWDC 2024 keynote live on Apple’s YouTube channel, the Apple website, the Apple TV app, and the Apple Developer app. Once the live keynote is over, you will be able to play it on demand.
