OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to debut in India in the third week of July (July 16th as per rumours), probably leading up to Amazon’s Prime Day sale, which is set for July 20th. While the launch announcement is yet to come, the alleged live image of the OnePlus Nord 4 has surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), courtesy of a tipster.
Is this our first look at the OnePlus Nord 4?
- The alleged image of the Nord 4 only shows the rear design of the phone and what changes one can look forward to.
- We see a dual-camera setup aligned horizontally on the top-left corner.
- The top portion of the back panel has a slightly darker tone, thereby offering a dual-tone design.
- The tipster says the phone will be made of metal, including the frame and have a glass back panel.
- The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3V but the design is miles apart. This makes us question the credibility of the leak, at least for the moment.
- We suggest you take this leak with a pinch of salt until we hear more details from the brand.
OnePlus Nord 4 specifications (tipped)
Interestingly, the tipster also shared some specifications of the phone as well. It is expected to come with a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED Tianma U8+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 2150 nits peak brightness. Much like the OnePlus Ace 3V, the Nord 4 will also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. For comparison, the Nord 3 came with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The handset is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. This is a huge jump over the standard 5,000mAh battery + 80W fast charging combination on the OnePlus Nord 3. In terms of cameras, the OnePlus Nord 4 will use a 50MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens on the back. For context, the predecessor came with 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera sensors.
The handset will have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an alert slider. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. As said, the OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to debut in India on July 16th and be on sale in the country from July 20th.
